zFairs started with the Utah State Science & Engineering Fair. We have been shipping software for judged student contests since 2012 from West Valley City, Utah — a product of Illuminating Software.
Registration, paperwork, judging, awards, and the next contest on the ladder. Science fairs, History Day, invention, poetry, speech, and other judged student contests. Same product, a different flow.
Self-serve create-event is real. So is a person on 800-252-0903, Monday through Friday. Free live training. White-glove when a new director inherits the fair.
We keep shipping. Student data is not sold. Encrypted in transit and at rest. A third-party platform is easier to hand off than a custom site whose builder may leave.
