Editor's Note

Sweater weather is here! Or maybe it's already coat weather where you are—time to bundle up! Grab a slice of warm apple pie and take a moment to reflect on all the positive moments you've had this year.

This season, we want to pause and extend our deep gratitude. Our clients are the true foundation of our company. We value our relationship with each of you and hope you feel the strong sense of partnership and shared success that we do.

Thank you for renewing your commitment to zFairs! We remain dedicated to making continuous improvements to our service and product, ensuring you can rely on us as a steadfast partner.

If your zFairs experience has been a positive one, please share your success story with a colleague or recommend us to a friend. We would be incredibly grateful.

In short, your experience matters to us, and we believe the secret to a great event is a streamlined, user-friendly setup. By keeping things clear and simple on your end, you not only ensure your customers are satisfied but also foster a strong, long-lasting relationship built on trust and efficiency—which is our ultimate goal year after year.

NEW & IMPROVED

We always want to make sure you are getting what you paid for. Here are the updates for November:

  • Custom Forms signatures are now even easier:
    • Sign SRC forms with ease directly from Paperwork Review
    • Remove signatures that are inputted incorrectly or for forms that need to be updated
    • Uploaded forms show first to make sure you don't miss reviewing them.
  • Take a look at our new feature "Search Results". This feature shows student participation and awards given over the years recorded on zFairs. Older records can be added on, just give us a shout and we can discuss the process.
  • You can change the Email content for the Hold Harmless and Media Releases sent to Parents by navigating to Custom System Text and search for: requestsignatureemailbody

zFairs TIP: Less is More

Ugh. I hate the saying "Less is More". It reminds me of home designers who come into someone's home to just replace all of their beloved little nick-nacks with this one, outstanding, newly bought vase that is now the center of attention.

As much as I hate the mantra "Less is More", it can't be truer than when you are setting up your zFairs site and registration process. If your home page is as dense as the U.S. Constitution, or as visually overwhelming as the Vegas Strip, then it is time to cut the clutter.

When looking at your site, and your registration set up, ask yourself these things:

  • Are there questions that are repeated or asking pretty much the same thing?
  • What is the essential information I need them to know, and how can I present just that information in a way that is easy to read through?
  • How long does it take my participants to get from start to finish? Are there steps I can combine or get rid of?
  • Are my visuals distracting from important information?

You don't have to sacrifice your personality to remove clutter and chaos. To find that perfect balance, invite an outsider to review your setup and pinpoint areas for refinement. You'll be surprised by the difference it makes when participants spend less time registering and more time on what they came for. This streamlined approach not only improves the experience but makes them far more likely to return year after year.
