As a teacher, if you have a student who would like to register for the fair, you will need to register first. Once you are registered, your students will be able to select you as their teacher during registration.

One of the main benefits of registering as a teacher is that this gives you the ability to log-in, review, and manage all of your students and their projects. Students can also log-in to their own accounts to make these changes, and need to be responsible for their own entries. Our goal is to provide an additional tool to help move along any hold ups.



Teacher Registration

  1. Click create account
  2. Select Teacher
  3. Enter your information
  4. Click "Next"
  5. Complete required information
  6. Click "Save & Continue"
  7. Select your school
  8. Click "Save & Continue"

Registering a Student:

Keep in mind that you do not need to log-in or even be present for your students to register. In fact, your student can register from home or anywhere with an internet connection. Most teachers will simply provide their students with the link or the URL to the event website and encourage them to complete their registration. Viewing/Editing Student's Profile, Project Information, and ISEF Forms:

  1. Click on "My Students"
  2. In the search bar, type the name of the student or project you would like to view.
  3. Click on the Student/Project you would like to view.
  4. Select the appropriate option (e.g., Edit/View Participant, Upload File, Link to a Project, etc.).

Viewing Student's Uploaded Paperwork

  1. Click "Paperwork"
  2. Click "Review"
  3. Select the forms you would like to review. Please note: Teachers cannot approve forms unless they are also an event staff member.


Paperwork Management


If your fair is using this feature, you can review the various required forms for your fair, including all of the ISEF forms. You will also be able to see and review all of the forms uploaded by your students. If you find that one of your students needs to make a correction on a form they have uploaded, let them know what they need to change.


Project Dashboard & Electronic Signatures


If your fair is using this feature, your students can E-sign the Generated ISEF Forms when using the Project Dashboard. Students, Adult Sponsors, Scientists in the lab, etc., can easily fill out and review the generated ISEF forms and then e-sign them. They can see which forms have or have not yet been approved, and make requests for signatures.

NOTE: Our E-signatures have been approved for use at ISEF. Based on the responses to the ISEF Wizard/Questionnaire, only the forms required for the student’s particular project are provided to the student on their Project Dashboard. Additionally, based on the information provided during registration, many fields on the Generated ISEF Forms are pre-filled for the student making it even easier for them to fill out their ISEF Forms. The Generated ISEF Forms can be downloaded from the Project Dashboard with the click of a button and then printed.
